The students completed two crafts this week!! They were busy bees!
The first one was a name craft using a bingo dauber. This craft allowed the students to strengthen their hands and review the letters of their name while making little dots along the letter lines.
Check out the names, they look adorable!! Thank you Ms. Davis for coming in and working with the students
The second craft was a bumblebee craft. This craft allowed the students a chance to use scissors and paint black stripes on the bumblebee's body. This was the first time using scissors and paint... the students did great! Thank you Ms. Williams for coming in and working with the students.
I am very sorry, but I don't have any pictures to share with
you right now. After I hang them up, I will update the post.

Also, I updated our Bulletin Board. Our board is now showcasing number writing and self portraits. The students have been working hard at writing numbers 0-10. We have daily practice on this skill. We've also been discussing how to draw people and all the details people have on their faces: eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, ears, etc. I have seen beautiful drawings!! Make sure to be practicing at home~ And remind your child they have muscle arms and legs. NOT sticks! haha So many of them wanted to draw sticks and I'm noticing more muscles being drawn in their pictures every day.
Here are a few close up pictures for you to enjoy.
Make sure to check out all these items the next time you stop by school!
So exciting to see all the things the kids are learning. I look forward to the open house! You are doing such a great job Ms. Finocchiaro :) Noelani looks forward to going to school everyday!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! We are doing a ton and I'm glad I get to share it with all of you. :) See you at the future Open House!
